1. “Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out” is a registered trademark belonging to Jamaica Observer Limited. Your registration as a participating business in Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out does not constitute a license for you to use the “Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out” trademark and/or logo. You are therefore NOT permitted to use the “Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out” Logo and/or trademark in any advertising and promotional material including social media such as Facebook, SAVE AND EXCEPT for advertising in publications of Jamaica Observer Limited.
2. Business participants must strictly adhere to the promotions stated in their Registration Form.
3. Business participants must not engage or participate in any promotions with any entities which compete with any of our sponsors from the 26th October 2024 to 28th October 2024.
4. Participant agrees that it is solely responsible for hosting its own events at its chosen location and agrees to fully indemnify Jamaica Observer Limited, its affiliates, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and insurers in the event of any claim against Jamaica Observer for any loss, damage, injury or death occasioned during the hosting of any events during Takes Style Out.
5. Your failure to obey the above terms and conditions may result in your immediate removal as a participating business in Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out.

JAMAICA OBSERVER LIMITED (the “Company”) requires participants of “Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out” (TSO) to complete this Registration Form which solicits the necessary information to facilitate your participation in TSO. This information includes personal data such as a name, contact number and email address. The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to inform you about the Company’s privacy practises, including how we collect, use and disclose your personal data.

Note: If the name of the contact person you submitted is not yours, you are obligated to obtain the relevant agent’s, officer’s or employee’s consent before providing the above information to the Company. If the correspondent person at your company has changed, please timely inform the Company to change the correspondent person information.
2. How do we use your information: We will use your information for the following purposes: i. For participation in JOL’s TSO promotion which means that the name, address and telephone number of your store will be published online and in our daily newspaper ii. Verifying your identity and business legitimacy. iii. Communicating with you regarding TSO iv. Complying with legal and regulatory requirements. v. We may also use your email address to send you marketing information from time to time.
3. Data Sharing: The Company may share your information with: i. The Company’s affiliated companies, or subsidiary companies. ii. Third-party service providers that assist us in processing payments, conducting background checks, or providing other services (“Processors”). iii. Government agencies if required by law or to comply with a court order. iv. Your personal data will not be distributed or sold to third party organisations
